Siemens will also provide education and workflow resources to the staff of Danville, Pa.-based Geisinger Health. The contract marks an expansion of a previous relationship between the health system and Siemens and includes the company’s:
- AI-Rad Companion, a vendor-neutral, multi-organ, augmented reading software solution that automatically prepares clinical input to be interpreted by radiologists.
- AI-Pathway Companion, which provides personalized and standardized care pathways using augmented intelligence, data integration, and insights from cohort analytics.
- Syngo Virtual Cockpit software for remote scanning assistance.
- Teamplay cloud-based departmental performance management application designed to bring together healthcare professionals and offer an intelligible overview of performance data.
“By expanding our relationship with Geisinger, this becomes one of the largest ‘Value Partnership’ relationships in North America and will allow us to work together to improve the patient experience for residents of Pennsylvania and the region,” David Pacitti, president and head of the Americas for Siemens Healthineers, said in a news release. “We are excited about this next step in our relationship to transform care delivery.”
“Making better health easier by bringing world-class care close to home is central to everything we do at Geisinger,” added Geisinger COO Matthew Walsh. “This partnership will allow us to continue to equip our facilities with the most advanced diagnostic imaging technology in the market to care for our patients.”
