The company said the product line was designed specifically for next-generation applications, with a screwless design and no topside heatsink allowing for a more automated assembly, increasing system reliability and reducing system costs.
“As medical, LED and industrial technologies evolve there will be a greater demand for features from power supplies,” SL Power Global Product Manager Paul Kingsepp said in a news release. “The GB130Q-C was designed to meet a wide range of applications while offering a feature set that included class-leading efficiency and flexibility.”
The GB130Q-C is safety certified for medical (IEC/UL60601-1, 3rd Edition) and industrial/ITE (IEC/UL62368).

The GB130Q-C is also available with a cover and both versions have a wide range of output combinations, a 5V standby output, remote inhibit via contact closure and power fail/DC OK signal, the company said. Meeting Class B conduced and radiated EMI with a high degree of margin simplifies system design by reducing/eliminating the need for external filtering.
