Fitly announced SmartPlate TopView™, a food tracking plate device that works with an app (Android and iOS compatible) to help users lose weight, or improve glucose, meal portions, and fitness goals.
Using photo recognition via a smartphone and Al technology, the SmartPlate Top View is a device that is designed with three separate weighing sections. Users place the plate on top of the countertop dock, add their meal items, and take a picture of the plate with the app to record.
According to Fitly, users can take a picture with their smartphone so the app can see what food the user is eating.
The SmartPlate app is able to identify the food items, analyze the nutrition facts, and store the information. This happens when the app combines the picture of the food with the weight recorded.
SmartPlate TopView is available now through Indiegogo at www.getsmartplate.com.
