Planet Intelligent, a digital health company, launched the ExMedicus Smartwatch containing biometric technology that monitors health, heart health and physical wellness.
ExMedicus comes with biotechnology features that can detect potentially fatal cardiovascular conditions, incorporating data such as heart rate, blood pressure and variability in heart rhythm.
Additionally, the watch contains PPG, ECG, PWTT and 512 Hz in real-time medical data. This allows individuals to monitor their sleep duration, ECG, resting heart rate, activity, active calorie burn, stress, fatigue index and health index score. The recorded health data can then be downloaded from the ExMedicus mobile app and sent to a doctor for further analysis.
This advanced technology contains components that improve the detection, diagnosis and prevention of different health ailments. By using a medical algorithm, the smartwatch can send notifications and early warnings to the mobile app about possible stroke, sudden death or stoppage of breathing.
Using blood pressure measurement, arterial stiffness data is generated to help improve the relay of health-related information. ExMedicus is constantly collecting this data, and even sends heart rate data every 60 minutes to the mobile app automatically. This smartwatch can also be used to collect data during workouts by providing real-time stamina feedback during workouts to better adjust pacing.
The data that ExMedicus provides can help detect conditions that could result in death or disability. For instance, many people pass off the symptoms of atrial fibrillation (AF) because they think the symptoms are harmless. Clinicians rely on capturing AF if their patients get an ECG at the right time. ExMedicus allows access to an electrocardiogram from the comfort of the user’s wrist.
Now, individuals wearing the smartwatch can seek medical care immediately by providing individuals with pertinent health-related information.
