Custom packaging manufacturer Spartech announced the appointment of Suzanne Fenton as its new marketing communications manager and the promotion of JuliAnn Bock to the director of human resources position.
Fenton’s new role is to manage the Maryland Heights, Mo.–based company’s communications programs, which include promotional materials, press releases, website maintenance, product advertisements, newsletters, trade shows, sales meetings and other customer events.
The new communications manager has over 20 years of marketing experience, according to a news release. Fenton previously served as VP of brand marketing and director of marketing for TricorBraun in St. Louis.
Bock has been at Spartech since 2012 and previously served as the company’s senior human resources manager. In her new role, she’s slated to lead and coordinate the policies, activities and staff of the human resources department, ensure legal compliance and implementation of the company’s mission.
Before joining Spartech seven years ago, Bock, who holds more than two decades of human resources experience, held the position of regional human resources manager at National Envelope Corporation.
“The hiring of Suzanne and the promotion of JuliAnn really solidifies and strengthens our growing team in two core areas,” Spartech executive chairman John Manzi said in the news release. “Both are talented leaders and collaborators who will play valuable roles in continuing to move our company forward now and in the future.”
Spartech is a plastics manufacturer, developing thermoplastic materials and specialty packaging products, including Royalite, Korad, PreservaPak and Polycast. The company has 15 manufacturing facilities across the U.S.
