STAAR Surgical to Present at the 2011 Canaccord Genuity Growth Conference

minimally invasive ophthalmic products, today announced that it
will participate in the 2011 Canaccord Genuity Growth Conference at
the Intercontinental Hotel in Boston on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at
3:30 p.m. Eastern Time.

Barry G. Caldwell, President and CEO, will review the company’s
business strategy and recent corporate developments. STAAR will

solely to ophthalmic surgery for over 25 years, designs, develops,
manufactures and markets implantable lenses for the eye.  All
of these lenses are foldable, which permits the surgeon to insert

or “IOL.”  A lens used in refractive surgery as an alternative
