The ENX EASY serializable encoder from maxon motor can be used in conjunction with brushless DC motors and matching BLDC motors and gearheads.
“This is the world’s first steam serializable encoder,” says maxon.
Its design allows it to be built into brushless drives (ECX 13 AND ECX 16 SPEED). This combination allows consumers to have a serializable positioning system.
The encoder is available in incremental 1024 counts and an absolute version of 4096 steps.
Both of them are designed for 1,000 autoclave cycles, according to maxon.
