Getinge’s big medtech news was the $680 million deal for soft tissue reinforcement technology developer Atrium Medical by subsidiary Maquet Cardiovascular. Getinge said demand for its medical devices in emerging markets not improving as much as expected, while the recovery in developed markets was slow.
