Syneo recently announced that it has completed the expansion of its contract services lab in its Angleton, Texas facility.
The expansion increases the company’s quick-turn material processing capabilities of its contract services division while increasing the range of material processing services offerings. Some of the services include cut-to-length services, hole-making, slitting, tipping, grinding and laser-based device marking.
Syneo is an ISO 7 Class 10,000 Certified Clean Room and has additional White-Room space for contract service processing with gowning, booties, gloves, masks and footwear that are available for specific requirements of projects.
“This expansion has allowed us to become a natural extension of our customers’ production capabilities by providing them with additional processing capabilities in short order when sudden changes in their respective capacity requirements arise,” Tyler Wackman, Syneo’s CEO, said.
The contract services division is able to process a wide range of medical grade materials like single-lumen or multi-lumen tubing, wire-reinforced tubing and nitinol wires. It also provides research and development applications solutions and long-term production support on catheter-based products.
