Tegra Medical announced today that CEO J. Mark King will retire on Aug. 1, 2020.
King is also retiring from his position as head of the medical division within the SFS Group, which acquired Tegra in 2016. King joined Tegra in 2012 as chief operating officer with more than 20 years of operations, sales, engineering and manufacturing experience in the medical device industry. He was promoted to president & CEO in 2014.
Before joining Tegra, King was president & CEO of Clinical Innovations, a women’s health medtech company. He also served as VP of manufacturing at Avalign Technologies, manufacturing consultant at Argon Medical Products, and VP of manufacturing at Angiotech/AMI Holdings. Earlier in his career, he held various positions with Cardinal Health, including director of service, plant manager and senior manufacturing distribution manager.
