Tegra Medical announced that it now has a European sales presence in Sheffield, U.K. The company also announced that it has appointed Neil Garner as its business development manager of Europe.
“This is an important step for Tegra Medical’s progression to becoming an international company and offering our end-to-end solutions globally,” Lee Crowe, VP of sales and marketing, said. “It dovetails nicely with the fact that Tegra Medical is now a member of SFS, which is headquartered in Switzerland and encompasses member companies all over the world. We welcome Neil, who brings us his deep knowledge of the medical device market in Europe and many long-term contracts within European-based OEMs.”
Garner joins the team with more than 25 years of contract manufacturing experience and a strong background in medical devices. Before joining Tegra Medical, Garner was the founder and managing director of medical device consultancy Neo Garner. He also previously was senior VP of medical products, operations and managing director for Symmetry Medical, Cheltenham and the operations director for Corin Medical.
Garner received his higher national diploma in mechanical engineering from Sheffield Hallam University and is a member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers.
