Spine surgery tech company SeaSpine is looking to cover the complete continuum of care through its $110 million acquisition of Toronto-based 7D Surgical and its flagship navigational system. The deal is expected to close soon.
SeaSpine took a hit from the COVID-19 pandemic, but showed signs of recovery later in the year, with nearly 9% year-over-year U.S. revenue growth in the second half of 2020.
SeaSpine reported in April that it expects 2021 revenue of $193 million to $198 million, reflecting growth of 25% to 28% compared to 2020 — and the 7D Surgical acquisition should boost revenue even higher.
