Pros: Compensation (depends on territory); good management with a solid vision of the future; culture; great products that are often best-in-category, opportunity for career advancement. Cons: Pressure to perform — I would argue this exists in every device company. Pros: Solid team support in what can be a solo world; real surgical solutions used daily across surgical specialties. Cons: Commission only — can certainly increase anxiety in an environment of high stress, but I can’t complain; a lot of product backorders — I say that though during the time of COVID and understand supply chains worldwide have suffered similar issues. Pros: Stepping stone to med device jobs with better companies. Cons: No training; 50% horrible management… HR has no idea what they are doing; No one knows who is the contact for anything.
