The best places to work for medtech sales reps

December 1, 2020 By Nancy Crotti

3. Acumed

Glassdoor rating: 2.1/5

32% would recommend to a friend

No Acumed sales reps posted comments on Glassdoor, so here are the three most recent ratings from employees in other roles.

Pros: Great products, good benefits, and surprisingly great people for how poorly they are treated. Cons: With such great products, you’d think the atmosphere should match it. The immense toxicity of management constantly being so inconsistent is exhausting and completely unproductive. They completely undervalue their highest-performing employees and have an annual firing to make their numbers fit the inadequacies. A very unfortunate place to work, when there is so much potential. — Former employee, engineering (November 2020)

Pros: Great colleagues; good benefits; cool projects. Cons: Poor executive management and leadership; lack of strategic direction; infighting among management. — Former senior product manager (August 2020)

Pros: Coworkers are very friendly and helpful. Cons: Office politics can make work situations unpleasant at times. Advice to management: Promote a more unified company that has shared goals. — Product development engineer (May 2020)

Comments to MedReps:

“Acumed stands out as an emerging market leader due to great leadership, great products, and great people!” — Senior sales representative

“[Acumed should win because of its] winning and collaborative culture, incredible corporate leadership, extremely competent departments and a comprehensive portfolio which earns the respect of all surgeons.” — Sales representative
