The best places to work for medtech sales reps

December 5, 2019 By Nancy Crotti

Teleflex1. Teleflex

Glassdoor rating: 3.4/5

58% would recommend to a friend

Pros: Well-known, quality products. Cons: Management and marketing (are) horrendous. Employees are not valued. Innovation is slow. Advice to management: Please stop managing with fear tactics. Learn how to appreciate and build up your employees and they will work much harder for you than if you scare them into working hard for fear they’re going to lose their job. — Former sales representative (2019)

Pros: Great line of products, most items are top of the line. Cons: Short-sighted management goals put employees in a bind. Advice to management: Refocus and reinvest in your sales people. — Current sales representative (2016)

Pros: It was good experience in the industry. Cons: Poor management in the surgical division and poor compensation packages. Advice to management: Be more rep-focused to grow your business. — Surgical sales representative (2016)

Comments to MedReps:

“With over six years with Teleflex, I have continuously felt challenged, recognized and supported to bring my whole self to work and do the best I can in my job responsibilities. I have been promoted several times and have always felt a strong sense of collaboration and leadership.”

“Teleflex puts their patients, customers and employees at the center of everything they do. Great culture and leadership. Proud to work for this world-class organization.”

“At Teleflex, you are treated like family and not like a number. They care about their employees and customers and work hard to do the right thing for both. In sales leadership, we consider culture as highest priority. I am proud to work for Teleflex.”
