THOMAS presents a solution pump for liquids

July 16, 2015 By MDO Editor

Gardner Denver THOMAS, is a manufacturer of flow control products for medical, life sciences and selected other industries focused on solutions for OEMs, introduces its latest product: THOMAS 1510. The fast, the consistent, the safe pump solution is designed for various liquid suction.

THOMAS 1510 Pump

The new diaphragm liquid pump 1510 is designed for fast suction of liquids, even when the medium is mixed with gas. The diaphragm design ensures consistent flow with minor pulsation.

Pump Design
The new diaphragm liquid pump 1510 is designed for fast suction of liquids, even when the medium is mixed with gas. The diaphragm design ensures consistent flow with minor pulsation. Therefore, the THOMAS 1510 fits ideally to applications in laboratory equipment and inkjet printing. The pump has a flow Rate up to 700 ml/min, pressure height up to 20 m H2O and suction height up to 7 m H2O.

Fast suction of liquid and mixed media
Laboratory instruments equipped with the THOMAS 1510 benefit from higher throughput and reliable test results. The pump empties the vessels quickly and residue-free due to its high suction performance.

Low pulsation for consistent flow
In order to achieve the best printing quality, inkjet printers need a steady delivery of ink to the print head. With its special pump design, the THOMAS 1510 provides consistent flow with little pulsation. In addition, it delivers the ink bubble-free to the print head.

Integrated pressure relief valve for different choices of materials
An integrated pressure relief valve avoids overpressures in the system, that might lead to leakage and damages in the machine caused by liquid. Another customizable component of the THOMAS 1510 is especially valuable for the use in industrial inkjet printers that process inks with special additives. For example, inks for ceramic tile printing often include particulate material or chemically aggressive substances. Our THOMAS 1510 diaphragm pump can be customized with abrasion or chemical resistant materials corresponding to special applications.
