Taking a look at Traco Power 450 Series power supplies

July 8, 2019 By Chris Newmarker

Traco PowerTraco Power over the past year has touted new 450 watt medical power supplies, the enclosed package TPP450 and the open-frame package TPP450A.

Editors at Medical Design & Outsourcing‘s sister site EE World recently powered up the 450 Series power supplies to see the things they can do.

The EE World editors powered up the open-frame model and set it up with a dummy load to get a feel for how it performs. The open-frame version is also able to run a 12-volt fan via a fan connection available on an auxiliary connector.
