TT Electronics (Woking, U.K.) said today that it has completed its purchase of Stadium Group, a Reading, U.K.–based supplier of connectivity products and services, power supplies, human-machine interface (HMI) and electronic assemblies.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Stadium products are used in applications including medical equipment, smart home, industrial robotics and aircraft cabin controls — with significant medical, industrial, aerospace, defense and transportation customers.
TT Electronics officials described Stadium’s business as a complementary fit, especially since the proliferation of electronics is driving demand at TT.
“Stadium adds complementary technologies including connectivity offerings, in industries we already know well,” TT Electronics CEO Richard Tyson said in a news release.
“By combining our power electronics capabilities and R&D expertise, we will drive growth and opportunity for the newly enlarged TT. We are committed to providing value adding engineering solutions and outstanding service, working with our customers to create smarter solutions together.”
