UnitedCoatings Group said today that it’s rebranding recently acquired CoorsTek Medical as Lincotek Medical.
Rubbiano, Italy-based UnitedCoatings said the rebranding will begin the integration of Lincotek Medical into its global medical business, but it also kicks off group rebranding in an effort to “better communicate the complete global offering to customers,” according to a news release.
UnitedCoatings said the newly branded Lincotek makes it one of the largest fully integrated outsource service providers in the medical device market.
In July, UnitedCoatings acquired CoorsTek for an undisclosed amount. In 2018, the group bought NanoSurfaces, CoorsTek Medical’s Italian subsidiary.
The Fort Worth, Texas-based company offers casting, machining and product development services to medical device OEMs.
“This is the first step in our global rebranding initiative under the name ‘Lincotek,’” UnitedCoatings CEO Winfried Schaller said in prepared remarks. “The group’s success under its different brands has been impressive and now it’s time to present ourselves under one coherent brand while leveraging the goodwill of our current brands including Turbocoating, Artec, Eurocoating, Surface Dynamics, Anteco, NanoSurfaces, Eurocoating Wuxi and now CoorsTek Medical.”
