Vention Medical has new medtech extrusion tubing services

January 3, 2017 By Danielle Kirsh

extrusion tubingVention Medical recently announced three new services to aid its extrusion customers.

“In the medical device industry, speed to market is everything. These tools and services are meant to help design engineers from startups to large device companies get quick access to the extrusions they need so they can develop clinically effective, complex devices and technologies—in less time and at less cost,” said Vention spokesperson Kathryn Misra.

The new services offer quicker delivery, custom extrusions and more cost efficient extrusions for customers. Extrusions can come in 20 different types of materials with many different specifications. There is also 130 new shaft-ready extrusions available. Customers can also input their design requirements on Vention Medical’s website to receive a quote and timeframe for their custom extrusion.

“Vention Medical was the first to market with an online store putting medical grade components into designers hands faster and easier than ever. Over the past several years, Vention has strategically grown the online store offering and developed new, innovative design tools. Our competitors are mostly focused on a single product type and do not provide as diverse of an offering for medical components or allow customers to order customized products directly on the website. This is a huge differentiator for Vention and will continue to increase the digital gap between us and our competitors,” Misra said.

The three new services include:New shaft-ready extrusions

A quick editor’s note here: Nordson last year acquired Vention’s advanced technologies division, while MedPlast bought Vention’s device manufacturing services division. Here is Nordson Medical’s web address: https://www.nordsonmedical.com/
