Veran Medical Technologies pulls in nearly $3 million for its SPiNDrive electromagnetic airway navigation system.
Veran Medical Technologies said it brought in $2.9 million in a funding round it hopes will eventually add $5 million to its coffers.
The St. Louis-based medical device company, founded in 2005, is developing devices for diagnosis & minimally invasive surgery.
The $2.9 million is short of the company’s $5 million goal. The 16 unnamed investors were offered debt, options, or warrants, for their investment, according to the regulatory filing.
