One of the current trends in medical technology is going needle-less for injections. First there was the device that shoots out the vaccine through a tiny hole, then there was a patch, and now an engineered pill. 

Designed by Rani Therapeutics, the outside shell of the pill dissolves once in the stomach, leaving a device that then releases the vaccine that enters into the bloodstream.
