The medtech supplier’s upgraded site is now a “collaboration hub” for executive leadership, catheter new product development (NPD), new product introduction (NPI), sustaining engineering, and manufacturing.
“By bringing our catheter NPD and NPI teams together in one location, we are creating a more connected environment for innovation, collaboration, and execution across our customers’ complex catheter programs,” VitalPath CEO Bill Ellerkamp said in an announcement. “Our customers value the responsiveness, technical expertise, and collaborative partnerships they experience when working with our teams. This expansion further strengthens our ability to deliver those benefits while helping customers move their programs forward more effectively and efficiently.”
VitalPath said the facility has a dedicated NPD laboratory for product development activities, prototyping, and customer collaboration.
VitalPath has additional extrusion and braiding operations in Maplewood and Cokato, the latter of which also offers precision laser components, laser processing, and catheter assembly.
