VWR, a global independent provider of laboratory products, services and solutions, recently announced that it has acquired Purification Technologies Inc. (PTI), a specialty solvent company that performs high volume purification of selected high purity solvents. This acquisition will enhance VWR’s growing laboratory and production chemical manufacturing portfolio to better support its laboratory and biopharmaceutical manufacturing customers.
Based in Chester, Connecticut and founded in 1998, PTI produces high purity solvents for analytical, biotechnology and agrochemical customers internationally.
