Wabash MPI (Wabash, Ind.) is touting new literature about the Genesis and Vantage series transfer molding presses that gives the standard and optional features available for the presses.
The presses range from 30- to 350-ton capacities and an included chart shows the complete line of Genesis and Vantage Series presses with specifications for each model, including clamp force, cylinder and stroke, platen size, dimensions and current draw.
Wabash MPI Genesis and Vantage presses can be configured for specific tasks and are used for materials like rubber, silicone, epoxy, plastics and composites. The presses can be used for precise molding of encapsulated electronics, medical products, “O” rings, insert molded plugs and connectors, spark plugs, rotors sensors and other applications.
The company offers presses for a number of applications including ASTM polymer testing, propane crush testing, rubber, plastics and composites, molding, R&D, laboratory and other specialized processes.
