What is lamination?

Lamination is the technique of manufacturing a material in multiple layers, so that the composite material is stronger, more stable, and has sound insulation from the use of different materials. A laminate is often permanently assembled by heat, pressure, welding, or adhesives. When an item is given a plastic coating, it becomes tear-proof and waterproof because the laminating film encapsulates the item completely.
