Jianquan Li, Winner Medical’s founder, chairman and CEO, has
recently been awarded with the Distinguished Contribution award for
2010 by the China Nonwovens & Industrial Textiles Association
(“CNITA”), and appointed as a member of the Expert Committee of the
same association for the next five years.
This award signifies Mr. Li and Winner Medical’s outstanding
contribution to the industrial textile industry. Winner Medical,
under the leadership of Mr. Li, has advanced the production of
healthier, safer and more comfortable medical products and helped
to create a culture of innovation in the cotton industry. For
example, the development 100% cotton spunlace nonwoven textiles, or
PurCotton, which can be used to manufacture feminine care, baby
care and home care products, not only cut costs by shortening the
production cycle from over two months to less than ten days but
also reduced the energy consumption, pollution and emission of
carbon from the manufacturing process.
Mr. Li was also appointed as a Committee Members of CNITA’s
Expert Committee. The Expert Committee is comprised of academic and
technology experts who have both immense practical experience and
theoretical knowledge in the industrial textile. Mr. Li is himself
a recognized professional in the industry and made an impact by
developing textile manufacturing technologies. According to CNITA,
these experts are the backbone and major driver for the future
development of the nonwoven and industrial textiles industry in
