Audrey Sherman

Audrey Sherman has been a division scientist at 3M since 2016.She has worked with 3M for over 30 years, taking on roles such as staff scientist, senior research specialist and senior research chemist.
Sherman has been recognized by 3M as the “100-Patent Woman.” According to the company, only 18 3M inventors have had 100 patents while working at the company. Sherman got her first patent five years into working for 3M and eventually went on to receive an average of 5 patents per year over the following 26 years. She was also the first woman at 3M to reach the 100 patent milestone and currently holds 125 patents in her name.
Sherman received her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Augsburg University
