Specialty and precision wire manufacturer Wytech Industries (Rahway, N.J.) announced it has named Henry Burmeister chief financial officer.
Burmeister has a finance and operational background in medical device contract manufacturing. He has held leadership roles focusing on medical device contract manufacturing, design/development, and specialty chemicals. Most recently, he served as Viant Medical’s VP of finance for operations. Before working at Viant, he led Vention Medical’s acquisition & integration strategy before its acquisition by Nordson Medical in 2017.
“Henry’s significant strategic and operational experience will complement Wytech’s existing operations & management team well,” said Wytech CEO Mike Casalino in a news release. “Our team is eager to leverage Henry’s expertise and welcome him to the Wytech family as we continue to focus on manufacturing world-class medical device components.”
Wytech designs and manufactures complex specialty core wires and precision wire components for a wide range of advanced guidewires and delivery systems. It also manufactures precision tube-based medical components and assemblies for the interventional and orthopedic markets. Vance Street Capital acquired Wytech in November 2020.
