Zeus Aeos ePTFE products are made by expanding extruded PTFE, under controlled conditions, during the manufacturing process. This process alters the physical properties of the product by creating microscopic pores in the structure of the material. The resulting product is imparted with unique physical properties that make it ideal for use in a host of applications.

Fiber Optics – Aeos ePTFE is an excellent material to shield fiber optics from extreme temperatures, moisture or aggressive chemicals. The moterial also reduces micro bend-induced attenuation changes.
Wire & Cables – Aeos ePTFE is chemically inert, naturally hydrophobic, and remains flexible in high and low temperatures. Extruded over wire, as a monofilament for a cable filler or a tube for an extra insulating layer; this product makes cables robust.
Desiccant/Packaging Aids – Aeos ePTFE is breathable, allowing air to pass while also filtering dust to protect sensitive electronics or other parts. The product is nonflammable, biocompatible, chemically inert and blocks moisture.
Filtration – With its porous nature, Aeos ePTFE tubing and membranes are excellent filters for air, gases or fine particulates. Zeus can tailor the product to vary the pore size. Our team can laminate a membrane with a number of materials to add stability.
