About the company: Glaukos, founded in 1998, is an ophthalmic medical technology and pharmaceutical company that develops novel therapies for the treatment of glaucoma, corneal disorders and retinal diseases. The San Clemente, California–based company brought micro-invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) to the market, launching the iStent MIGS device in the U.S. in 2012, followed by the next-generation iStent Inect and iStent Inject W in 2018 and 2020, respectively.
