Arrhythmia Research Technology will be rebranding to Micron Solutions, according to a press release posted late last week.
The move comes as the company aims to better align itself with its wholly-owned subsidiary, Micron Products, which provides contract manufacturing services for medical device components which require precision machining and injection molding.
“We are very pleased to introduce our new company name. Our legacy name no longer fully described our company. We believe the new name better represents our business and our commitment and focus on helping our customers develop manufacturing solutions to meet their goals. Our integrated set of services allows us to be a true manufacturing ‘one-stop’ shop with capabilities to handle most customer needs in house. All of Micron Products’ solutions and services are backed by the same experienced team who bring the same unique approach to manufacturing solutions that our customers rely on,” prez & CEO Salvatore Emma, Jr. said in a press release.
As part of the rebranding, the Fitchburg, Mass.-based company’s common stock will trade on the NYSE market under the symbol “MICR.” The rebranding will take effect March 24, while the ticker change will go into effect March 27.
