The name change will be effective June 4.
Company officials said that going back to the Adam Spence name will help the company benefit from Adam Spence’s long history of developing highly-engineered medical extrusions, braid and coil-reinforced tubing, and catheter sub-assemblies for major legacy medical device companies. WL Gore bought Adam Spence in 2004; Vance Street Capital acquired it in 2017.
“We’re thrilled to unveil our refreshed brand identity and redesigned website,“ said Steve Maxson, VP of marketing and sales at Adam Spence.
“The iconic name Adam Spence reflects the combination of our expanded fluoropolymer extrusion capabilities, our patent pending Fremat technology, a novel method to manufacture coreless high pressure braided tubing, and our comprehensive Quality Management System. It supports our vision to be a best in class contract manufacturer of Vascular Technologies to the medical device industry,” Maxson said.
Adam Spence plans to exhibit at MD&M East (Booth 1638), June 12–14 in New York City.
