Meddux Development (Boulder, Colo.) recently appointed Tony Walsh to be the company’s business development director. Walsh will work out of the Colorado facility and report directly to Meddux president Dave Schechter.

He has worked in manufacturing, scope management, risk mitigation, issue tracking, regulatory and quality systems, supply chain management and resource planning. He has held project manager and senior design engineer responsibilities throughout his career, and has worked at Solekai Systems, Conexant Systems and Wind River Systems.
Most recently, Walsh was senior project manager of Plexus Engineering Solutions, responsible for multiple-disciplinary engineering projects in healthcare and life sciences, including complex laboratory devices and EMS capital equipment manufacturing. Walsh earned an MBA from San Diego University and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering Systems from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.
“I’m extremely excited about appointing Tony Walsh business development director,” Schecter said in a news release. “This will allow us to leverage his extensive business development experience to identify and implement business and operational changes that will meet our growth strategies. This is an important step for our company as we further position ourselves as a world-class leader in design and development services for complex medical devices.”
