Steinmeyer has moved to Woburn, Mass.
The U.S. subsidiary of a German company that makes precision ball screws, Steinmeyer now has a warehouse with 25% more capacity. The larger quarters will allow the company to broaden its stocking program, which allows customers who place blanket orders to have stock on hand in the U.S., ready for immediate shipment.
The move has also enabled Steinmeyer to expand its offerings of miniature ball screws and nuts to engineers working on prototype development. The expanded shipping and receiving area allows for handling ball screws of any length and the loading dock can accommodate a larger range of truck sizes, accelerating the delivery process.
Designed and manufactured in Germany, Steinmeyer’s products are used globally in precision positioning for medical devices, lab instruments, optics and other mechatronic applications.
