Contract manufacturer Tegra Medical today announced the promotion of Walter Gacek to vice president of sales and marketing.
After holding several senior-level sales management positions since joining the company, Gacek will now assume responsibility for all sales and marketing activities for the company’s device manufacturing and Quick Wire and Tubing businesses.

Gacek has more than 3 decades in the medical device industry. Before joining Tegra Medical in 2009 as business development manager in the western U.S., he spent 15 years with Accellent in various technical sales and sales management roles, including director of business development, building and leading sales teams across various geographic regions.
Earlier in his career, Gacek held sales and technical positions at American Technical Molding, a medical molder acquired by Accellent; Nova Chemicals; and American McGaw (now B. Braun).
Gacek earned master’s degrees in biology and plastics engineering and a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
