Trinseo, formerly known as Styron, made its debut at MD&M West 2015 in February. The Company changed its name to reflect how Trinseo’s technologies and materials play a role in developing the next generation of products.
Trinseo has supported the medical devices market for more than 25 years with polycarbonate, ABS and styrenic custom compounded resins.

Trinseo has expanded its plastics portfolio with medical grades featuring better chemical resistance, glass fillers, color compensation technology and biocompatibility. It also features ABS resins produced under a mass polymerization process offering lot-to-lot consistency and whiteness of color.
Medical Devices is just one of the industries under Consumer Essential Markets (CEM) in Trinseo’s Performance Plastics business. Other CEM industries include Lighting, Electrical and Consumer Electronics.
