ProMed (Plymouth, Minn.) is welcoming customers from across the country to an open house on Tuesday, Oct. 22 — a day before MD&M Minneapolis — to celebrate the company’s 30th anniversary.
The open house, at the company’s headquarters at 15600 Medina Road in Plymouth, will run from 12–4 p.m. and include tours, learning seminars, lunch and refreshments. There will be presentations on subjects including conductive silicone in the medical device space, silicone drug elution, automation for silicone manufacturing, silicone design for cost reduction, and material selection and formulating.

In operation since 1989, ProMed is a cleanroom manufacturer of silicone components for medical applications. The company services the cardiac rhythm management, neurological devices, urological devices, ophthalmology, drug delivery/pharmaceutical, minimally invasive surgery, aerospace, dental and women’s health markets.
In addition to its Minneapolis-St. Paul area location, ProMed has a facility in Dorado, Puerto Rico — with a total of 97,000 square feet of manufacturing space and roughly 175 employees.
