Having a newborn baby can be a lot of work. From ensuring they’re safe and content, to monitoring their temperature, babies require a lot of nurturing, but now parents can stop worrying about their child’s temperature with a new wearable that continuously monitors their child’s temp.
The temperature patch, featured on Indiegogo, has 24-hour real time monitoring, takes into consideration room temperature detection, and will send an alert if the child’s temp gets too high.
It takes approximately one minute for the patch to register temperature, and the patch will continue to do so as long as it has complete skin contact. If the patch falls off, an alert will sound. Additionally, if the temperature detected is higher than 100.4 degrees F, the temperature box will sound an alarm.
Once users plug in the power for the temperature patch storage boxes, which displays the temp and sounds alerts, users can stick the gel patches under the armpit of a child. It will instantly start to measure the temperature, and if you don’t want continuous monitoring, simply take the temperature patch off and place it into the storage box.
If you want constant monitoring, simply keep the patch under the child’s armpit and it will activate an alarm for abnormal temperature throughout the night/day.
With an intelligent heating algorithm and a FL high precision detection chip, the patch’s measurement precision can reach ±32.18℉ (±0.1ºC).
The patch was also designed with comfort in mind, has an anti-swallowing design, and is water vapor and sweat proof. Although catered to children, adults and the elderly can use this as well.
