The sub-miniature TP-110-02-2-T was designed as a secure anchoring point for j-hooks that help with the connections for field level testing. Its loop configuration holds probes fast without any slippage that is common for posts or turrets. TP-110-02-2-T also has a small footprint and an ultra-low profile that is best for advanced surface mount printed circuit board applications, according to Components Corporation.
Components Corporation’s new TP-110-02-2-T is made from phosphor bronze stock. Flat stock allows for a larger surface area for mounting, which is important for considering the mechanical stresses common to the testing process.
The TP-110-02-2-T has a .0603 package size and is available in .0001 minimum matte tin finish over .00001 nickel plate. It is compatible with the reflow soldering process. The surface mounts are supplied in tape and reel format with 2000 pieces on 7 in. reels for automatic placement systems. The tape conforms to ANSI/EIA-48 standards.
All products are specified for use in a number of mission-critical applications that are compliant to current RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC and REACH Regulations EC 1907/2006.
