eCardio and Yocaly Will Jointly Advance Remote Cardiac Monitoring in the U.S.

May 29, 2014 By PR Newswire

eCardio Diagnostics, LLC (eCardio), a leader in remote cardiac arrhythmia monitoring services in the United States, and Shandong Yocaly Information Science & Technology Co., Ltd. (Yocaly), a remote, real-time medical cardiac monitoring solution provider headquartered in Jinan, China, have recently signed a strategic cooperation agreement focused on furthering the advancement of remote cardiac monitoring products and services in the United States, China and beyond.

Fully understanding the harmful effects of cardiovascular diseases on human life and health across the world, the companies believe there are opportunities to work together on several important initiatives that will assist physicians with accurately diagnosing high-risk arrhythmias as precisely and quickly as possible.

“We believe the solutions that will be developed through the cooperation between eCardio and Yocaly have an opportunity to help hundreds of thousands of patients and their physicians on a daily basis,” said eCardio’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Larry Lawson.

The founders for both companies have served cardiovascular patients through their endeavors collectively for more than four decades and have built their successful business operations on the shared business philosophy of providing cost-effective, high quality diagnostic services.

“We are pleased to be working with eCardio and respect their vast knowledge on the development of cardiac monitoring data platforms and electronic medical records integration with the academic centers and large hospital systems in the U.S.,” said Yocaly’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Zhu XiaoHong.

“Yocaly clearly has an advantage with regards to product design and manufacturing of products that we are eager to learn more about,” said eCardio’s President and Chief Operating Officer, John Untereker. “We have already identified some promising synergies, and we are fortunate to be working closely with such a distinguished global company that shares our vision for serving physicians and their patients.”

In the early stages of this relationship, eCardio and Yocaly plan to share their knowledge of monitoring technology and experience in data service, and review U.S. market product requirements and opportunities. The companies will also be exploring opportunities in the growing Chinese monitoring services market and will be jointly participating in and sponsoring an upcoming event at ATA China 2014 from October 28-30, 2014, in Tianjin, China.
