Eptam Precision Solutions acquires Micro Molding and MedConnection

May 29, 2019 By Danielle Kirsh

eptam-acquires-micro-moldingHeritage Portfolio’s Eptam Precision Solutions today announced that it has acquired Micro Molding and MedConnection. The financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

Phillipsburg, N.J.-based Micro Molding is a precision plastic injection component manufacturer that serves the medical device market. It offers precision injection molding, catheter tipping, finishing and assembly. It has two ISO-9001 certified facilities with over 36,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space.

“The acquisition of Micro Molding is the ideal strategic addition for Eptam. The company’s plastic injection molding capabilities perfectly complement Eptam’s plastic and metal machining capabilities, broadening our one-stop-shop solution for our key blue-chip customers. We are delighted to be partnering with Micro Molding and their team,” Dana Waterman, CEO of Eptam, said in a press release.

“The acquisition of Micro Molding significantly broadens Eptem’s suite of services, allowing it to serve its customers even better than before,” said Jud Samuels, a partner at Heritage Portfolio, said. “We are excited about this new chapter in Eptem’s strategic evolution.”
