Exostar announced that it has appointed Stuart Itkin as the company’s VP of product management. He will be responsible for all of the company’s strategic and tactical product management and product marketing activities.
“I’ve admired Exostar for quite some time; the company plays a unique role in securing the A&D supply chain and enabling organizations in highly-regulated industries to collaborate securely, efficiently and compliantly,” Itkin said. “The ability for organizations to share and exchange sensitive, valuable information drive business velocity and operational efficiency. Their ability to do so securely is threatened by increasingly sophisticated adversaries; their ability to do so compliantly complicated by mounting regulation. I believe Exostar is uniquely positioned to bring innovative solutions to market that will assure businesses’ ability to achieve these imperatives.”
Itkin has previously led product strategy, development and execution for cybersecurity, supply chain technology and software businesses for over 20 years. He most recently oversaw cybersecurity company SAIFE to bring its software-defined perimeter solutions to the Department of Defense into commercial markets. He has also served as managing director/chief marketing officer at Gartner and has held leadership roles at Zebra Technologies, Symbol Technologies and PSC.
“Stuart brings comprehensive and noteworthy technical, business and leadership credentials to this position,” Richard Addi, Exostar’s president and CEO, said. “His insight and expertise will be essential as we evolve our portfolio organically and through acquisitions like Pirean to pursue and capture the tremendous market opportunities that lie before us.”
