CMS laser conduction welding system [Image from Keystone]
- CMS laser conduction welding system: Keystone recently implemented a CMS laser conduction welding system with vision part location detection. Heat conduction welding creates a weld at, or just below, the surface and is prevented from traveling deep into the bulk of the materials. This is important when interaction with device contents is prohibited. Conduction welding technology requires precise and accurate control of the laser and its parameters. This is one of three types of laser welding technologies available conduction, transmissive and transparent. All laser welding technologies offer advantages over other technologies with smooth seam quality, non-contact processing, cleaner processing, precision positioning and ease in automation.
VitaHeat UB3 [Image from Keystone]
- VitaHeat UB3: VitaHeat is an under-body patient warming system that uses patented conductive ink technology. VitaHeat UB3 is engineered for safety, easy to use and portable. It is always on and can be used throughout the perioperative journey due to AC and battery options. It is engineered for safety and meets all FDA safety guidelines, features eight interactive sensors to actively monitor temperature and six independent heating zones to provide consistent control in warming all areas.
