Since 1988, Epilog Laser brought CO2 laser engraving systems to small business owners, commercial customers and home craftspeople. They have since expanded into metal engraving and creating many firsts, including the first laser to “print” directly from ColeDraw, designing the first rotary attachment, marketing the first large-format table and manufacturing the first 100 W laser.
Throughout the end of January and in the beginning of March, Epilog Laser will be providing several learning experiences in Texas and Nevada.
On Jan. 26, questions about Epilog’s UV printer or laser system can be answered at the Holiday Inn Austin Airport in Austin from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. To see the lasers in action and ask questions about the products, Engraving Concepts in Arlington, TX will be holding two open houses on Jan. 29 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Jan. 30 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Mike Dean, a.k.a. “Mr. Epilog,” will be discussing photo engraving techniques that use PhotoLaser Plus, CorelDRAW and Corel PHOTOPAINT, including cropping photos, creating vignettes, removing backgrounds, transforming photos and engraving large murals at the International Awards and Personalization Expo in Las Vegas. On March 1, Dean will be speaking from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
