Millstone Medical announced that it has added microbiologist Joshua Browning to its Fall River, Mass. sterile packaging facility staff.
Browning has been a quality control analyst in microbiology at Nanotherapeutics prior to joining Millstone Medical. There, he was responsible for facility process qualifications and validations of ISO 7 and ISO 8 cleanrooms, validated gas systems and conducted environmental monitoring for quality critical areas. Browning also was an R&D analyst at NovaBone Products where he was responsible for developing and executing sterilization and packaging validations, evaluated sterilization method suitability for finished goods and developed sterilization protocols and dosage parameters.
At Millstone Medical, he will be responsible for on-site LAL testing and will be in charge of the review and approval of sterility validation documentation and environmental monitoring. Browning will also be responsible for post-sterile release processes at the facility.
“Josh has great experience in biosafety and cleanroom environments,” Vicki Hughes, VP of quality assurance at Millstone Medical, said. “We look forward to the value Josh will bring to our team as he helps enhance our expertise in sterile packaging.”
