NBK’s wireless positioning unit
The NBK wireless positioning unit can do away with the time and effort that comes with manual setup of medical packaging production line positioning handles, according to NBK America.
The units can replace existing handles on the line. It’s possible to wirelessly control multiple units from a PLC or PC. A transceiver, in fact, can control up to 32 units simultaneously, according to NBK.
NBK officials boast that the wireless positioning units reduce annual setup time by 84%.
The positioning units also can automate work in dangerous factory locations, such as high place. They eliminate setup errors due to manual operations and improve efficiency around difficult-to-reach handles.
