Qosina has received ISO 22301 certification, the international standard for a controlled business continuity management system, the company announced today.
ISO 22301 includes requirements for company management to ensure that the business avoids disruption from potential disasters.
“Qosina is committed to providing exceptional products and services to our customers, and having a proper disaster recovery and business continuity plan builds trust that we can respond quickly and effectively in the event of business interruption,” Scott Herskovitz, Qosina’s president and CEO, said in a news release.
“Our business continuity management system ensures mission-critical functions are up and running so that we may continue to provide an outstanding level of service to our customers,” Herskovitz said.
Founded in 1980, Ronkonkoma, N.Y.–based Qosina supplies thousands of OEM single-use components to the medical and pharmaceutical industries. It recently released the 40th-anniversary edition of its catalog.
