Raumedic (Helmbrechts, Germany) recently announced that it has hired 800 employees with its latest new hire, Thomas Schlesier.
Schlesier will serve as an application engineer at the company’s headquarters in the systems business unit. He is scheduled to start in August and will contribute to theoretical knowledge and practice experience in polymer processing.
Raumedic had 240 employees when it spun off from Rehau in 2004. Today, about 550 employees work at the headquarters and the others work at the company’s facilities in Feuchtwangen, Zwönitz (Saxony), Dietzenbach (Hesse) and seven locations outside Germany.
“Of course, I’m very proud about breaking the 800 barrier,” said Christina Hechtfischer, head of human resources at Raumedic. “We have certainly grown rapidly.”
The company says it will continue to grow its workforce as it searches for more skilled engineers and employees in commercial and industrial areas.
