TRUMPower introduces the TXM25 series of 25W wall mount power adapters that meet 2 MOPP, are approved to Class II medical standards and also comply with IEC 60601-1-11:2015 for home healthcare environment use.

The series accepts a 80-275VAC full range AC input and features short circuit and overload protections. The output voltage is factory preset between 3V to 55V to meet customer’s requirements. The standard output connector is a barrel plug on a 4 feet output cable but to accommodate specific needs, many other desired connector options can be used as well. The customer has a choice of four types of interchangeable plugs, including US, China, Japan, EU, UK, and Australian, which come with the adapter main body. The adapter measures approximately 2.95 x 1.71 x 1.58 inches.

The enclosure leakage current is 100 µA maximum @ 240 VAC, 60 Hz on this double insulated Class II power adapter series. Operating altitude is 3,000 meters maximum. Other important features are its approvals to UL/IEC/EN 60601-1 edition 3.1, ANSI/AAMI ES 60601-1 (2012), CSA C22.2 No.60601-1 (2014) as well as its compliance with RoHS2, CEC. The power adapter complies with IEC/EN 60601-1-2 4th edition medical EMC and immunity standards including EN 55011 & CISPR11/FCC & VCCI class B (conducted and radiated emissions), EN 61000-3-3, EN 61000-4-2 (ESD at 15kV air and 8kV contact), EN 61000-4-3, EN 61000-4-8, EN 61000-4-11.

The series is rated for operating at -10°C to +70°C ambient temperature, with de-rating required from 100% at +40°C linearly to 50% at +70°C. The units consume very low no load power, typically less than 0.3W and have an efficiency of 65% to 86% minimum. The MTBF is 100,000 hours at full load at 25°C ambient temperature per MIL-HDBK-217F standards.

The TXM25 is competitively priced in OEM quantity. Units are available from stock to 8 weeks ARO.
